TROWELED EPOXY FLOORING
DESCRIPTION:
Bedrock Toweled Epoxy Flooring is a 100% solids (water & solvent free), three component, color through, epoxy flooring system primarily used for finishing concrete or plywood floors. It provides a sealed, seamless, non-porous, easily maintained finished surface, ranging from approximately 3/16" - 1/4" thick.
SYSTEM COMPONENTS:
Bedrock Troweled Epoxy Flooring incorporates state of the art epoxy resins to chemically fuse aggregates into a multi-coat, hand, or power troweled high build flooring system. It consists of a primer coat,Bedrock Flexi-Coat waterproof membrane (if required), Bedrock Trowel mortar and Rockote (topcoat). CRU1 is an optional topcoat for added chemical resistance and color stability.
GRADES AVAILABLE:
Solid color, multicolored or hybrid stone. Smooth, medium, or slip resistant finish textures available.
APPLICATION:
Follow instructions for preparation and mixing of component materials. Apply primer and if water proof membrane is required apply Bedrock Flexi-Coat. Apply primer with random aggregate. Prime and apply Bedrock Trowel mortar mix to required thickness (mix epoxy first, as instructed on the label, and add aggregate to a ratio of 1 part epoxy to 3 parts of aggregate to create the epoxy mortar. Blends of specially graded aggregate (either natural or colored) are available. Mix with a slow speed high torque drill until uniform. Epoxy mortar may be hand troweled or power troweled. Allow to cure overnight, lightly ground surface, sweep and vacuum and apply Rockote in the number of applications as required. For uniform slip resistant texture single broadcast flooring is applied over the troweled coat. While still wet, fully broadcast aggregate again and allow to cure. Sweep and vacuum excess aggregate and apply Bedrock Rockote as a topcoat. Allow to cure. Apply Bedrock CRU1, if required, and allow to cure.
